What better way to prepare for Conclave than making sure your instrument is ship shape! This afternoon Risa and I paid a visit to Baltimore to pick up and sort out instruments to lend to students who will be taking part in the VdGSA's first online Teen Beginners' class. It's actually quite exiting that we have twenty students signed up for this. A custos stopped by to help, and we collected six instruments to lend out to some of the beginners in our area. Here I am sheltering in a parking garage changing a string, in the midst of 95° heat, a raging thunder storm,

and flash flood warnings. We managed to skirt the storm and were delighted to see the excited faces as we delivered instruments along the way back to Arlington.

PolyTrack delivers a racing experience where control defines success. The tracks are designed to punish careless driving, pushing players to stay precise at all times. As the pace increases, staying balanced becomes harder, turning every run into a meaningful challenge that rewards patience and focus.
Navigating a 95-degree heatwave and a flash-flooding Baltimore while protecting fragile, centuries-old instrument designs requires a high level of vigilance. You were essentially playing a real-life game of resource management—balancing time, car temperature, and safety.
This intense focus on monitoring your surroundings and protecting your "assets" is exactly what makes FNaF so gripping. In the game, you are a security guard trapped in an office, managing power levels and watching monitors for any sign of a breach.
Playing agario feels like a strategic survival challenge, where every small decision can determine whether you dominate or get consumed.
It shows how much effort and care goes into supporting young beginners, from traveling to collect and repair instruments to working under uncomfortable Poor Bunny conditions like extreme heat and a thunderstorm. The fact that twenty students have signed up for the first online Teen Beginners’ class reflects strong interest and growth, while the willingness to lend out instruments demonstrates generosity and commitment to accessibility.
Just what I needed to see this morning! As a longtime player, I’ve found that finding little ways to keep the creative spark alive between practice sessions is so important. I actually enjoy browsing sites like Davison Inventions reviews with my morning coffee - it’s oddly relaxing to see the creative ideas people are working on, even if I never buy a thing. It’s a nice, low-stress reminder that creativity and problem-solving are happening everywhere. Thanks for sharing this post and helping me start the day on a inspired note!
