2-piece table with ornament, high arching; 2-piece back with inlaid diamonds in center, plus oval-and-triangle above and below; both with double purfling. (Back design very similar to Dreyfus’s Meares, but different from most others by him.) Meares-like soundholes. Rib depth at center bout 12.7. “A. Dipper Luthier / Restored and rebuilt 1987-88 at Taynton / Oxon.” (neck, head, fingerboard, tailpiece). Fleming dimensions 68.1, 31.7/23.2/38.8, 12.0, 69.5. (Meares probably died c. 1700.)
