Comments:
Belly by Dietrich Kessler (before 1959), done for L. Ring, replacing a bad non-original table (conversation with TGM, 10/01). Conversion to 7 strings by Curtis Bryant, 2002; top 4 holes (and head) retained from 6-string pegbox; new fingerboard, tailpiece, bridge, and bass bar. 2-piece back with replacement section in lower bass-side bout; double purfling but no designs.
