Date perhaps 1664; neck original, fingerboard not; can’t take 6 strings now. 5-piece table with ornament; back has diamond patterns at bottom and below fold (with inward-pointing arrows), plus in center surrounded with 4 rounded lobes; ribs also ornamented; single purfling front and back. In museum catalogue, photo switched with SM 87 = E. Degani 19C, and width of bottom bout must be a typo. Dimensions from Marco Ternovec, 8/01, based on his visit in 1991: 69.1, 32.9/23.9/38.6, 11.1, 70-71.
