Comments:
La Fille head. Back and table (both 2-piece, with single purfling) overhang ribs. Label not original according to Ingo Muthesius (via J. Dunford); Milliot 1997: “etiquette manuscrite dont l’authenticité est contestée.” Restored by Judith Kraft, 1991: new neck and pegbox for 7 strings (previously, and probably originally, had only 6). Previously restored by M. Schmidt, Lyon, 1960s, after death of previous owner, Ruyssen. Possibly the same as Jacquot 1900, no. 93 (same date).
