Striped ribs and back (maple and palisander); table and back both have double purfling. 2 pegs treble, 3 bass side; “in a perfect state of preservation...with its original...varnish”. (Lachmann gives tuning as g-c’-e’-a’-d”.) Tourin dimensions 58.4, 34.6, 16.0/-/20.0, 5.4, - (converted from Lachmann’s inches); museum dimensions 33.1, 16.3/11.5/19.9, 5.4, 32.3.
