Tourin notes (1978?): table with double purfling, simple fleur-de-lis in center (cross-hatched with fading color), overhanging edges; back with single purfling (divided at fold), flower ornaments top, center, and bottom, flush edges. Table ornament is Type IV for backs (no flowers); back center is Type III, top and bottom unique (single flower hanging from 2 ovals). Restored by Dietrich Kessler in 1977 (image of invoice received from new owner 11/24): new neck, fingerboard and tailpiece, head, and fittings, also restoration of arching and worm damage. Torres to PT 3/77: bought recently from “a Mr. Wandscheider [= Wandschneider?] ... who had it a long time ago”; dimensions 68, 31/23.5/34.5, 12.5, -.
