Hellwig 2011, TieWV 122; Hellwig 1980, no. 102. Lost. Based on description and illustration in Antiquitäten-Rundschau Jg. 2 (1904), Heft 27, pp. 317f., body shape was like a baryton; instrument had been converted to a cello. Ivory edging on table and back; ebony and ivory purfling around soundholes. Hellwig 2011 adds: outline like a baryton, but viol shoulders; soundhole purfling is 4-ply, very unusual. Soundhole shape agrees with other Tielke viols, and body outline similar to TieWV 84 (Berlin 4654, undated). Former owner was active as violin maker in Eisenach from 1901 and copied various historical instruments, according to Wolfgang Wenke. (Lütgendorff 1922, 2:65 confirms and adds: b. 1871; trained in Klingenthal.)
