Hellwig 2011, TieWV 119; Hellwig 1980, no. 099. 2-piece table with ebony edging and double purfling, badly sunken on bass side; 2-piece back (arched). Neck has been narrowed; from the middle onwards, not original. Fingerboard not original, no tailpiece. Bad worm damage and bad repairs. Dimensions 66.5, 30.5/22.0/38.0, 12.6, -. Hellwig 2011 adds: bass side of table has new wood c. 7 cm wide; bass bar set very diagonally, possibly original; back has no purfling. Back widths 30.0/21.8/37.2. Conservation work done by Sabina Kerkhoff in 1998; x-ray at Nuremberg museum shows original dowels in neck foot.
