Hellwig 2011, TieWV 089; Hellwig 1980, no. 081. 2-piece table with sickle-shaped soundholes, ivory/ebony/ivory edging, and double purfling; arched back of 5 strips of palisander and 4 of maple that taper toward top; ribs unstriped. Inlaid fingerboard (ivory on tortoiseshell veneer); ivory tailpiece is 2 intertwined snakes, similar to no. 101. Pegs and bridge not original. Repair label: “Repariert von / Oswald Mockel / Berlin 1897” [printed except Repariert von, 97]. Dimensions 67.5, 30.6/22.4/37.5, 12.2, -. Hellwig 2011 adds: no purfling on back; open-carved pegbox. Back widths 30.9/23.1/39.4. Originally for 7 strings. FB+TP are reverse-color counterparts of TieWV 92
