Hellwig 2011, TieWV 069; Hellwig 1980, no. 063. Table not original (made in 1861). Converted to a cello; pegbox shortened, fingerboard and tailpiece not original. Back and ribs in poor condition (cracks and worm damage). Only body length given. Hellwig 2011 adds: 2-piece back (arched) with no purfling; bass-side bottom rib replaced in birch; neck grafted; incised decoration on front edges of pegbox planed off. Back widths 28.5/21.7/37.4. Repair inscription (in pencil on soundpost plate): “Nyt Laag [=new table] 1864 / Udfardiget af O. Rognstad”; he was a doctor, violinist, and amateur composer in Toten who had the replacement table (with F-holes) made in 1864.
