Hellwig 2011, TieWV 120; Hellwig 1980, no. 100. 2-piece table with double purfling; 2-piece back (arched and folded). Neck, fingerboard and tailpiece, block and pegs not original. Restored by Günter Hellwig, 1963 and 1976: in 1963, also new hookbar and soundpost; pegs not original but not replaced. In 1976, lengthened neck to 30 cm, replaced fingerboard and tailpiece, made slightly higher bridge based on Simpson. His dimensions 65.4, 29.8/21.6/37.5, 12.2, -; museum’s dimensions 65.3, 29.8/21.6/37.5, 12.3, 64.5-65.0. Hellwig 2011 adds: repair label “Alfred Brock / Stockholm 1912 Repr.” [printed except 12] plus handwritten mongram AB in a circle. 3-piece table; no purfling on back. Back widths 28.8/21.6/37.3.
