2 pegs treble, 3 bass side; carved head looks down fingerboard, which has 3 sections of inlay with pointed ends and sculpted lower end; tailgut. Square shoulders. Display label (and Buchner’s photo caption) calls it “tenor quinton”. Museum’s measurements evidently only to nearest half cm. Cizek 2008, p. 58: head is a philosopher or satyr.
