Comments:
Jacquier: “Malgré sa petite taille, l’instrument est indubitablement un dessus de viole, et non un pardessus.” Gétreau 1996, p. 590: Pillaut wrongly listed it as a pardessus. Soundholes placed high and vertical; 1-piece back. On display 8/02: ends of fingerboard and tailpiece have thick ivory strip; latter has pinwheel inlay in mother of pearl. Drawing available from Pierre Bohr (erorut@libero.it), per VdG-Mitteilungen, 12/03.
