Table in poor condition (cracks and varnish damage); pegbox damaged by drilling holes for cello pegs. Owned by Thommessen since 1957; in 1904, listed as No. 166 in catalogue of Norsk Folkemuseum (provenance Mrs. T. Nathan Bjerke). Hellwig 2011 adds: [1st example of] woman’s head in late style; dimensions identical to Hellwig 1980.
