Comments:
Restored at GNM, 1963; previously in very bad condition; in 1986, scheduled for another restoration soon. Changed from 7 to 6 string, replacing head with copy of Berlin 4653. Body is birch, also pegbox. (No dimensions in Otterstedt 1986.) Tourin: table has single purfling, BWBWBWB; none on back. Martius: 3-piece table. Repair labels: “Reparirt von Neumann / Instrumentenmacher zu Königsberg 1820; Reparirt von Theodor Lasse (?), Gumbinnen 1860”. Website gives label as “Gregorij Carp / in Königsberg / Anno 169[0?]”.
