Rosette, scalloped end of fingerboard; white inlay of (a mermaid?) on black tailpiece. Upper eyes of soundholes much smaller than lower eyes. Peg for highest string is closest to nut. Tourin: Overhanging edges, “arching not so high or steep; very German”. A. Varsányi to TGM, 1/13: slightly cut down and used as cello; new neck.
