Restored by Donald Warnock, c. 1965-70, including new neck and pegbox, using old head; also pegs, fingerboard and tailpiece. Previous neck, adapted for cello, still at MFA. Monical 1989: 2 piece table of cedar with 4 wings; ribs and back of birch; single purfling, plus black-and-white edging to table (also fingerboard and tailpiece). Tourin: 3 or 4-piece table.
