Comments:
Hellwig 2011, TieWV 094; Hellwig 1980, no. 083. Table not original: F-holes, overhanging edges, probably by Baumeister; striped back and ribs of palisander and maple (back 7+6 pieces, ribs 4+3 with outer two wider). Neck, fingerboard, and tailpiece not original. Some inappropriate repairs. Repair label: “F. Baumeister, Orgel Macher / 1719” (photo in Kinsky 1912, 2:649). Dimensions 66.8, 30.5/-/38.0, 11.9, -. Hellwig 2011 adds: 2-piece table with strong arching and wide recurve, purfling partly single and partly double; arched back also overhangs ribs; bottom end of pegbox unskillfully replaced in grafting new neck. Back widths 31.3/22.6/38.6. Original neck apparently damaged, maybe broken off. Kinsky dimensions 67, 31/-/38.5, 13, -.
