Comments:
Martius 1996: built on same mold as LYMAN 1 and RUH 9. Pegbox has been both widened and lengthened (probably in 1899): originally for only 5 strings. Dimensions 72.0, 31.1/22.9/41.5, 13.2, - (perhaps taken on back?). Repair label: “Sebastian Schelle, Lauten und / Geigenmacher in Nürnberg, / zugericht, Anno 1737” (printed except Anno 1737; photo in Kinsky 1912, 2:641). Also, written in pencil on inside of table: “Raparit. / Albin Wilfer / Leipzig / 1899”. Kinsky dimensions 72, 31/-/42, 14, -. Martius 2016: top block not original; dimensions 72.0, 31.1/22.9/41.5, 13.2, -.
