Comments:

Hellwig 2011, TieWV 082; Hellwig 1980, no. 074. Table with sickle-shaped soundholes and double purfling; back is arched. Neck, head, fingerboard, hookbar not original. Unusually small body; dimensions 59.2, 26.8/20.0/33.2, 11.5, 61.0. Tourin: 2-piece table with double purfling, 2-piece back with none. Cello-type scroll, neck graft. Hellwig 2011 adds: back widths 26.6/19.8/33.2. One of half a dozen unusually small instruments, perhaps made for use at high pitch.
