Hellwig 2011, TieWV 023; Hellwig 1980, no. 021. Table with double purfling (arching badly sunken); 3-piece back (arched) with scratched “purfling” and glued-on carved ornament at top; ribs probably cut down. Peg for top string is closest to nut. Neck, fingerboard, tailpiece, and pegs not original. Dimensions 67.0, 30.6/-/37.7, 10.6, -. Hellwig 2011 adds: 3-piece table with double purfling and old bassbar with vertical growth rings. Back widths 30.6/21.9/37.4. Earliest example (together with TieWV 24-25 of same year) of an arched back and glued-on carved ornaments. Dimensions on Vázquez website: 67.8, 30.5/20.2/37.5, 10.9, 65.4; youngest growth ring in table (bass side) dated 1646. Tourin: short stop, short neck?
