Comments:
Hebbert 2001: Restored by Julian Boby. J. Topham to TGM 4/02: neck not original. Table ornament Type I, center back Type III, upper and lower back unique; relief carving at neck heel and button. Double purfling front and back; scroll also has double purfling; floral carving on back of pegbox; dark fingerboard and tailpiece with double light perimeter lines. Muthesius: arching very high; scroll grafted to neck and looks like work of a novice.
