Tourin: odd shape, thin ribs, black and white striped border, very Bohemian. Ivory rosette, ivory pegs, ivory and ebony inlay on fingerboard, also tortoiseshell on tailpiece. Called a pardessus (with date 1H18C) in printout from museum’s database received 3/2010; body shape info from same source.
