Striped back (3 dark, 2 light). Galpin believed it was from same set as his 1611 bass. Perhaps the same as BAINE 2: although F. Baines called that a tenor, his treble (BAINE 1, also striped) came “from the Galpin collection” (see Early Music 6 [1978], p. 45), and his other small “tenor” (BAINE 3) is not striped. (Jaye probably died in 1636, per Fleming 2016.)
