Comments:
Seriously damaged by flooding in Florence in 1966; restored by Carlo Vettori c. 1990. Table and back both 2-piece with double purfling. Had spent time as cello, but original pegbox retained. Neck had been shortened; was dovetailed into top block. Now has new neck, fingerboard and tailpiece (the former light with dark borders, the latter reverse colors). Tailgut. Perhaps originally postless. Has supposedly original case.
