Kuronen: 1-piece back, plain ribs (NB not striped); 2-piece table. Both have single purfling, BWBWB. Neck later; Tourin says too long. Fingerboard and tailpiece also not original, but ivory hookbar probably is (Zuchowicz, on data sheet). Many plugs in pegbox; currently 2 pegs treble, 3 bass side. La Fille head. BSO 1926 claims signed “Guersant,” not now visible. Repair label: “Reparez par / L. Collenot / Luthier / pour M. Casadesus” [handwritten in pencil]. Dimensions 31.1, 15.4/11.0/18.4, 5.9, 30.5. TGM: purfling is very narrow 7-ply; ribs not flamed like back. Pegbox grafted to neck, whose profile too round, also too narrow at both ends (with extra black material at rib joints). Pegs too long or short, probably not original; fingerboard rosewood, tailpiece stained back with diagonal upper edge; ivory hookbar (!). No crossbars on back, except soundpost plate with pencil inscription “Réparé par / L. Collenot / ----- / pour M. Casadesus”; cloth strips instead of corner blocks. Back widths 15.1/11.0/18.5, rib depth at C-bouts 5.5. Not convincingly by Guersan.
