Comments:
All original except bridge, soundpost, and one peg. Neck is thin and fingerboard wide. Double inked purfling on table, also inked rosette and quarter-circle decorations at each corner; no decoration on back. Restored (and later copied) by Michael Heale, 1979. Long string length for a French treble, implied by painted marks on back of neck for fret placement. Lower eyes of C-holes completely below lower body corners. Tourin/JVdGSA dimensions: 68.5, 37.0, 17.1/12.5/21.5, 7.7, 38.2. Caldwell 2012 dimensions: 36.9, 16.9/12.6/21.3, 7.0, 37.5.
