Comments:
Tourin: Pegbox originally for 7 strings. French C-holes. Current neck is short, has holes for sympathetic strings, definitely not original. Head like Rombouts, possibly not original. On loan to Allen Clayton, Philadelphia (not an ASAI member), from mid-1960s through at least 1991. TGM: double purfling on table and back; graft between pegbox and neck; long fingerboard but short tailpiece (with 3 holes, each with 2 slots); bridge by Chanot & Chardon, Paris.
