Comments:
Arched back with no fold. Restored in 1970s by Jörn Erichson for previous owner; again in 2020 by Bernd Hiller for current owner: new neck, fingerboard and tailpiece (with fancy black-and-white edging); new soundpost and bridge, bottom block and hookbar. Soundholes originally Fs; large circular rosette. Carved head is blindfolded; upper part of pegbox original, lower part an old replacement. Widths measured on the back. Owner claims (based on “oral tradition”) it was originally owned by the composer Josef Fiala.
