Comments:
Mileshina 2016: Table (with painted purfling) and rosette (with multi-layer parchment rose) with ebony and ivory edging; back with central chevron inlay of alternating rosewood and maple “in the form of a small fir-tree”; open-carved pegbox “in the form of pomegranate clusters” with foliate carving on sides and at neck heel; narrow and thin linings, with no corner blocks. Neck and lower blocks, back barring, bass bar, and external fittings (ebony fingerboard, rosewood tailpiece, ebony pegs with near-diamond shape) not original. Now has tailgut, but formerly had hookbar.
