Label said to be illegible, but maker’s name given as “Hyacinthe?”: more likely a first name than a surname, conceivably Jean Hyacinthe Rottenburgh I or II of Brussels, d. 1756 bzw. 1783; or “Hyacinte Lorret, dit Janrot, rue des cles, Gand. 1738” (as on label of Brussels 2882)
