Kinsky calls it a “Basse de Viole d’Amour”, like no. 852 (Boivin), except here the pegs for sympathetic strings are in the main pegbox. Modern Belgian or French copy (“Nachbildung”). Back and ribs of cherry, table has rosette, carved pegbox. Printed repair label by “L. Pierrard ... 23 Rue Lebeau, Bruxelles 1896”.
