Blond fingerboard and tailpiece with full-length geometrical inlays (initially black FB+TP with diagonal ends nearest bridge). Probably acquired in 2009. Website, 6/09: Italian, c. 1700; 3/10: “the general consensus is that this instrument shows clearly the influence of Nicolò Amati”; by 8/11: “In light of recent evidence, after restoration, the final consensus is: Pietro Guarneri of Mantova.” (Body widths taken on back.)
