Striped back and ribs, joints lined with parchment; no crossbars except soundpost plate. Double purfling on front and back. In perfect condition except inner edge of treble soundhole damaged, probably at the auction; when seen, open for repair by Guy Coquoz. Floral carving on back of pegbox; 2 pegs treble, 3 bass side; 4 pegs missing their ivory pips; tailpiece and bridge not seen.
