In poor condition when found, lacking lower rib and edge of table on bass side (also 3 pegs); by 7/20, restored and playing well. 2-piece table with painted purfling and high arching; 1-piece back. Neck nailed onto body; Polish-style lion’s head; maple fingerboard and original poplar tailpiece inlaid with 3 broad vertical stripes of yew; original bass bar; end button rather than hookbar. Back widths 24.6/17.9/31.4
