Catalogue: “Pegbox with stamped decoration surmounted by an open scroll with floral carving in the volutes.” Report: pegs are modern, also bridge (stamped J. Robelus Gent) and endbutton; tailpiece 19th century, fingerboard not old. Has had frets in the past, but none shown in photo. 2 pegs treble, 3 bass side. Vazquez website: dendrochronology gives date of 1727 for youngest growth ring on table.
