Comments:

Brenner 1989: H. Moeck called it a pardessus and said it was by Mathias Hummel. Many repairs to table, ribs, and back; fingerboard and tailpiece not original (decorated in late Jugendstil); now has tailgut. Lion head not unlike Tielke’s but less refined; has red tongue. Pegs probably original. Worksheet: dimensions 39.9, 20.8/13.9/25.3, 6.2, -. 2017 online draft version of catalogue calls it “Diskant-Gambe, Pardessus de viole (?), umgebaute Viola d’amore (?).”
