Comments:
O. Wettermark 7/03: 1-piece table, 2-piece back, no purfling on either. Rosette. New neck, fingerboard, tailpiece, and carved head, but pegbox is original. Was a cello and “in a miserable condition” when purchased c. 1980; restored by Wiking Janson, Norrahammar, Sweden, 1980 (new fingerboard, tailpiece, and head by Anders Emmerfors, Arlöv, Sweden, 1992). Previously repaired by C. F. Beckman, Linköping, Sweden, 1901. A. Fagerlund 1/18: neck probably original, but cut down for cello conversion then widened, needs to be reset; pegbox with carved back and sides; numerous cracks and damage, poorly repaired with white glue; metal strings and tailpiece with 6 fine tuners.
