Table with double purfling and typically English center floral ornament; back arched, in 3 pieces, without fold. Neck and pegbox were restored in 1905 and have been left as found; pegbox has old, plugged peg holes. Other restoration work done by Jean-Frédéric Schmitt of Lyon in early 1990s. Repair label: “Repar’d by Mr Dearlove / Leeds, 172 North Street / 1869, May 24 / Exhibition to Great London Exhibition 1851-1862”.
