Arched back, sloping shoulders, original neck; when seen by Lindemann (private communication to Herzog, 6/96), had later tailpiece and 5 steel strings; was then owned by an American. Assumed to be the same as Pacherel quinton in 1910 estate auction of Baron De Lery (lot 390), since no other such instrument known.
