Squarish shoulders and not-quite-pointed corners; large F-holes with very exaggerated nicks. Fingerboard and tailpiece have inlay pattern of pointed-end rectangles (each half black, half white) in rows of 3, increasing in length toward bridge. Offered but not sold at auction in Versailles, 24 March 1996; later sold at another auction in Paris, perhaps to a Viennese dealer. (J.M.
