Comments:
Copy of Giovanni Maria of Brescia, at Ashmolean, Oxford (1 of 2, other at MIM in Phoenix). Gatti 1997 [NB: Body lengths and widths taken on back]: 2-piece back, 2-piece table (highly arched). No ears on scroll. Certain elements of craftsmanship and style suggest that it was actually made by Gaetano Sgarabotto, who worked for Bisiach at this time; but Disertori 1946 says made by Leandro Bisiach Jr. Gallini 1963 dimensions: 35.0, 18.0/-/21.5, 7.8, -.
