Body only; no neck. Gétreau 1996 and website give maker’s name as “Elster”. Table has high arching and single purfling (hard to see); back has none. Original hookbar replaced by tailgut button. 2 vertical-profile crossbars below soundpost plate (second just above bottom block), and 2 more above. Rib height 13.2 at bottom block. Several cracks in back, and various open joints.
