Herzog 2003, D-17 (front partial, neck heel from side); also received directly from Herzog; [unpublished, from A. Pappano 10/21: front (color); from K. Libin 7/16: front (color)]
Original neck and (short) fingerboard. Overhanging edges. Missing rosette in table (small, circular, at level of upper body corners). No purfling on back. Relief-carving design at end of fingerboard (which is painted black); floral carving on back of pegbox, which still has 6 pairs of holes (the top two unused but unplugged). Scroll typically Tyrolean. Only interior brace is soundpost plate. Museum’s dimensions to Tourin: 66, 29/20/36, 11, 68 (evidently only to nearest half cm, like others; very different from Herzog’s, which she credits to museum curator Pavel Szturc).
