Comments:
Only back (2-piece) and ribs original; replacement table (with purfled C-holes) is older than neck, fingerboard, and tailpiece, which date from restoration done in England for R. Murata after purchase as a cello. Played by Kaori Uemura as 2nd viol to W. Kuijken on 1992 Couperin CD.
