Comments:

Attributed by ASAI to “Testore” (no first name). Not set up when seen. Fingerboard and tailpiece elaborately inlaid; Fingerboard is relatively short; 6 fine tuners on tailpiece. Extremely long pegbox with large holes; earlier set (still only 6), now plugged, even larger. Bridge by Primavera [Philadelphia]. Many cleats inside back center joint, nailed down; “knee” brace to top block. Back and (overhung) ribs either not maple, or unusually cut. Case has metal plaque reading “Société de Concerts / dInstruments Anciens / Paris Henri Casadesus.”
