Comments:
Tourin: new neck; small viol; dimensions (rough, off a drawing) 69.6, 32.2/23.2/39.0, 13.1, 69.5 (back widths 32.0/23.3/39.1). Current head copied from Kuijken’s Bertrand, by a French luthier for G. Anthony, according to L. Dreyfus, who also identified the viol’s presence in Munrow’s photo (adding that it then still had a neck by St. George). Jane Ryan never owned it, but had it on extended loan from Marco Pallis.
