Comments:
Very possibily converted from a viola d’amore: ribs have central dark stripe 4.3 cm high, surrounded by lighter and narrower stripes each 0.8 cm. Back and ribs are bird’s-eye maple. Head may be old but not original to instrument: graft to pegbox. Neck is short: 7th fret needs anchor around neck foot.
