Comments:
Information to Martius & Schulze from Michael Baumgartner, Basel. Then recently restored by Pierre Jacquier (see M. Herzog in VdGSA News, 9/98, p. 13, and VdGS(GtB) Newsletter No. 103, 10/98, p. 13, the latter with photo): made without a mold, very asymmetrical; no bars on back, possible integral bass bar. Purfling ornaments in 2 corners and 4 dimples of table and back (latter also has them at center top/middle/bottom). Back has very wildly-figured wood.
